Airwolf 3D Catapult
thingiverse
A functional truck-based catapult design is described here. Inspired by a wooden toy, the project was created from scratch; read more at airwolf3d.com/blog/2012/10/16/download-and-3d-print-our-functioning-catapult/. Using your preferred slicer, slice the STL file with 100mm/s outer perimeters and 35% fill. No support is required for good bridging ability. Post-printing, trim as needed with an exacto knife and drill appropriately sized holes for cleanliness and ease of assembly. Assemble by threading one M4x25mm bolt through the catapult base and four M3x10mm bolts through the wheels into the frame. Attach a rubber band around the catapult and bumper, but be cautious as this design can launch items up to 20 feet!
