IKEA SAMLA is a perfect container for storing 3D printing filament, and it's not just because of its design. Two clever clips make all the difference - they push the lid firmly onto the container, ensuring it stays closed with ease. This ultimate design is versatile too; you can use it for filament storage or other applications as well. You can watch a video on how to create these clips by checking out this link: https://youtu.be/EI7NPZbnfQI When printing these clips, any plastic will do the job, but I used PLA. For the best results, print them on their side and enable supports - it makes all the difference. To assemble two of these clips, you'll need: 1. Two M5 x 60 screws 2. Two M5 nuts If you want to take your design to the next level, you can fix the clip to the container lid using a few extra parts: 1. A 5mm drill bit 2. Four M5 x 15 screws 3. Four M5 nuts
