Airtight filament spool container for Prusa MK2.5/3/S, Voron 2.4
grabcad
I had never-ending problems with my filament getting wet. I tried the Sunlu filament “dryer”, but that didn't help because my filament is too hygroscopic. So I designed a spool holder that sits inside an airtight Rubbermaid food container. That fixed my problems with dry filament going wet once and for all.I use these airtight filament spool holder containers to print PETG, ABS, ASA, Nylon, TPU, polycarbonate on my Prusas MK3S and a Voron 2.4. If you print PLA, you don't need this.Instructions and up-to-date files are available here https://makerspet.com/blog/airtight-filament-spool-container/Instructions on how I dry my filament https://makerspet.com/blog/dry-3d-printing-filament-properly/Instructions on my choice of desiccant for the spool container https://makerspet.com/blog/3d-printing-filament-molecular-sieve-desiccant/If you are reasonably pleased with this mod, please leave a like to help others discover this contribution!Happy 3D printing!
