Airtight Filament Container
cults3d
Parts for adapting an airtight storage container are needed for holding filament while printing. It only works with narrower spools, like those used by NinjaFlex, Filamentum, Colorfabb, or Up!. Purchase was made hoping it would work with the larger spools but it's slightly too small for most 1kg spools. Uses a spool roller inspired by the TUSH spool holder that prints in one piece and is sized for the spools mentioned above. Bearings are inserted from the bottom and should snap into place. Or use your favorite sit-on-top style spool holder. The tube cap is optional, it's used for terminating the open PTFE tube when not in use. A hole will need to be drilled through the lid of the container to install the bowden adapter. If unsure if the spools you use will fit, a table of filament spool dimensions encountered may help.
