I designed my own cost-effective solution to keep my single filament roll dry and tempered, avoiding the hefty price tag of a specialized box like eSUN's. To make it work, you'll need these essential components: - A hygrometer/thermometer (I used this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/264347580514) - A heat mat (e.g., https://www.ebay.com/itm/Heizmatte-wahlweise-5W-7W-14W-20W-28W-35W-45W-Heizmatten-Terrarium-Heizung/163701295512?var=463192412926) - Rubber glue or rubber bands to secure the lid's cutout rim - Alternatively, some sponge for the lid instead of silica - Plexiglass to cover the front cutouts With silica added to the holder at the backside of the box, your filament stays dry, ideal for long prints. The heated bed removes air moisture while the silica or sponge absorbs it. You can also replace the filament outlet with a real nozzle, but the small hole and high internal heat prevent excessive moisture from entering. Print time is approximately 3 days, depending on your settings.
