<p>This mount has been designed to conceal an airtag under a bike saddle, between the metal rods usually found under it.</p><h4>&nbsp;</h4><h4>Why another bike saddle mount for airtags&nbsp;</h4><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I know, there are numerous designs out already, exactly like this one, &nbsp;but all of them are too large for my own bike saddle (a Xiaomi QiCycle). So I decided to make a new one that can be easily changed to fit any saddle size.</p><p>Also, it's designed to be lightweight (only 2 bolt &amp; screws are needed to secure it) and to let the airtag's top cover be free to not muffle its ringing.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h5>Harware needed</h5><ul><li>2x M2x8mm</li><li>2x M2 bolts</li><li>1 Apple Airtag (<i>obviously</i>)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h4>Changes</h4><h4>&nbsp;</h4><ul><li>2022/08/23 - Removed the sort of “lock” on the holder, as it was indeed too frail and didn't help much to secure the mount. As it stands after 2 weeks of use, the screws are largely enough to keep both parts together.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h4>How to modify this design for your needs</h4><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You'll need an <a href="www.onshape.com">Onshape</a> account to do so (it's free). Once created, just click on that <a href="https://cad.onshape.com/documents/d48bda1b59726f765b988008/w/a1427c5362d09868221f8822/e/e97d8028fdbdbc66ed2f8608">link</a> and copy the document.</p><p>You can change all the parameters if you want, but i'd rather stick to only change <i>mount_spread</i> and <i>mount_diameter</i>.
