**Please note this disclaimer:** This is a large, high-speed fan! Be responsible, wear safety gear, and don't give it to small children to play with. I've warned you! Motivation: I was dissatisfied with my Wiltec spray booth's built-in fan (HS-E420DC), so I designed this massive radial fan as a replacement. The spray booth is also available from other resellers and looks like this: https://www.wiltec.de/airbrush-komplett-set-absauganlage-fur-farbnebel-mit-aussenluft.html This fan is designed for high airflow at an acceptable sound level. For a successful build, you'll need: - A large print bed that can handle parts up to 201x224mm in size (I used a Flsun Cube). - A 775-type motor (e.g., "Jiang 775 DC 12-24 Volt"). - A suitable power source with at least 5A at 12V (this is what I measured with my specific motor). - An optional motor speed controller. - A motor coupling adapter with an outer diameter of 7.5mm, e.g., https://www.conrad.at/de/messing-kupplungs-einsatzstueck-modelcraft-bohrungs-o-5-mm-o-x-l-13-mm-x-15-mm-226505.html - Screws: 40 pieces, 3mm and 8 pieces, 4mm Choose one of the two FAN options: - "Large Radial Fan - FAN" is designed for maximum air intake with a lightweight design. - "Large Radial Fan - FAN EASY PRINT" is an alternative if your printer struggles with thin walls or stringing issues. However, be sure to balance the fan for low vibration. You can scale down the fan (I successfully printed it at 50%) but use the motor mount as a template and create your own for your specific motor! Added 2018/10/26: INPUT MUFFLER-DEFLECTOR: Intended to be screwed in front of the air intake - directly behind the filter. Add some sound isolating material into the recess to further quiet the air intake. Using a motor controller allows you to adjust the fan's speed. A device like this worked perfectly for me: https://www.amazon.com/Motor-Speed-Control-Controller-10V-50V/dp/B01LZAXWCO/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1540932616&sr=8-23 Although this design was made with a specific purpose in mind, feel free to use the fan for another high-airflow application. In that case, the following parts are not mandatory: - Large Radial Fan - ORIGINAL FAN REPLACEMENT - Large Radial Fan - INLET ADAPTER - Large Radial Fan - OUTLET ADAPTER - Large Radial Fan - 775 MOTOR HOUSING BTW: The pipe diameter of the fan inlet and outlet adapter is 100mm
