Use at your own risk. I am not responsible for any action or undertaking of your actions when using or making this device. First of all, this is an innovative idea for a 3D printed stick grenade that is completely reusable. All the models are done on Tinkercad with precision and care. The concept of this airsoft stick grenade came from the Thunder B grenade, but since a stick grenade does not have a spoon, then I would have to devise a different system of puncturing out the CO2 (8 gram) cartridge. I have designed this to where you will pull out a 1/8 inch or 3 mm pin, and the holes are located in the middle of the CO2 tube, allowing for a violent whipping motion to puncture the foil cap on the cartridge. This would release the air from the CO2, pushing the cartridge down the tube to the end and letting the rest of the air out where the shell is. The excess air from the CO2 would expand the shell, which is full of airsoft BBs, causing it to rupture similarly to a Thunder B. As you can clearly see in the model, I still have a lot of work left to do. This will be version 1 of the German airsoft grenade. I need to make a handle, which will be made out of wood with precision and care. Also, I plan on using a steel tube to hold the CO2 cartridge instead of a 3D printed tube. The tube will also be updated to use a spring to propel the CO2 cartridge into the nail in the tube. My goal is to make this a reusable airsoft grenade by allowing only the shell to explode, not all of the 3D printed parts. The base of the airsoft stick grenade is the only part that needs to be supported, as far as I can see. All of the other parts do not require support, but I would still make sure they all use a skirt or a raft when printing them for added stability and security. I have not printed one yet, but I plan on doing so in the coming month, despite the slow shipping of PLA due to the virus. Once version 2 is complete, and if everything works as planned, I will put up pictures on how to assemble the grenade, even though v1 is very self-explanatory in its assembled view. The drawing and dimensions for the handle will also be available when v2 comes out. If you want to remix this or reengineer this, please do so at your own risk, but always give credit as being the original designer, that's me.
