If unsure, print a small test version first to ensure the design is compatible with your printer. To achieve optimal results, use high infill levels (80% or higher for PLA). For enhanced heat resistance, consider printing with PETG or ABS materials instead of standard PLA. When working with ABS, be aware of potential heat shrinkage issues during the printing process. This airsoft suppressor was successfully printed using PLA on a Creality Ender 3 and Tevo Tarantula combo. Despite its excellent performance in PLA for over a year, PETG remains the preferred choice for added heat resistance.
