Airsoft MTW Suppressor
thingiverse
I recently bought a Wolverine MTW and wanted to have an integrated/nested suppressor in the handguard, but the more I looked the more I had difficulty finding one that would fit AND that I liked. The internal diameter of the MTW's handguard is 35mm. So, I decided to just design one, which also inspired me to order my first 3d printer. It is hollow throughout so it can be filled with foam to make your HPA or AEG quieter (works especially well with HPA) If you've worked with threads on 3d printed objects before, you know they can be tricky. I have the 14mm ccw threads printed in, and it works great, but it is REALLY easy to cross thread these fine threads the first time you try, so I made a remix of a drill alignment tool to help and it works great! I use a bit of white lithium grease to help with lubrication as I tap the threads for the first time. If you don't want to deal with threads I created an alternate version of the cap to allow for a nut to be inserted to use for threading onto the barrel instead of printed threads. I used this nut: https://www.ebay.com/itm/184026319574?var=691718960129. Get the M14 x 1.0. Also added a second version of the tube with a larger diameter cut for the bb to exit from, helps with slightly off alignment if you're using printed threads. Length: 177mm (7") Outer Diameter: 33.5mm Inner Diameter: 27mm Threaded: 14ccw (14mm negative) I'd suggest printing out of PETG or more heat resistant filament if you're going to be playing outdoors and live in a warmer environment. This is for Airsoft toys only, not for use with real firearms. Currently on Version 4 as I test, it may change in the future as I field test it. but for now it seems to be working well.
