I crafted a customized stock for my airsoft MP5, utilizing various designs to accommodate different printing capabilities. The hollow version features ample space for batteries and a removable compartment cover, while the filled version prioritizes structural integrity. To cater to smaller printers like mine, I created split files that can be easily assembled, whereas larger printers with more expansive capabilities can utilize joined files that capture the full design in a single print job. For optimal results, I employed ABS filament, set my temperature to 230 C, and selected a 10% infill density, two shells, and a precise 0.3 mm layer height.
