Airsoft modular Amplifier/ Suppressor
thingiverse
This is an airsoft amplifier/silencer, it's a modular design so you can choose the configuration that suits your needs - loud or quiet settings are available. Files for 14mm counter-clockwise and clockwise threads have been uploaded to the system. I'm considering creating a version with 16mm threads, but I haven't made any decisions on this yet. If anyone wants me to create a 16mm thread version, just let me know - I'll prioritize it accordingly. **Important Note** After printing, the threads may be quite tight and require some effort to assemble. To remedy this issue, try working them back and forth until they wear in to each other smoothly. Once assembled properly, these components fit together very snugly and operate without any issues. If you're familiar with the process of loosening up tightly fitted parts, please share your expertise - I'm eager to learn from you. **Additional Note** To ensure optimal performance, I've included a spacer set that helps achieve perfect alignment. By using an 8mm spacer in the middle and adjusting it according to your barrel's specifications, you can achieve precise fitment with the amplifier's cone. Here are some dB readings taken with my phone: * My AEG with no attachments averages around 92 dB. * The airsoft amplifier alone measures approximately 111 dB on average. * With a cap in place, the amplifier reaches an average of 104 dB. * When combined with the silencer section and a cap, the overall noise level drops to 84 dB - adding thin foam further reduces this to around 78 dB.
