Instead of designing from scratch a fake muffler for the Airsoft replica, I decided to create a case for one of the most common metal Airsoft mufflers. on the market. With this, you'll be able to customize the one you already have in several ways and make sure it's shock resistant (It's not the first printed silencer that broken by leaning it against a wall...) The muffler I've used as a base measures 130mmx35mm, and I've created several elements, which I describe below; A complete sleeve, with the hexagons marked, but not drilled all the way through. With this, you'll have the muffler in your chosen color. A sleeve divided into two elements, a simple cylindrical base and another with the body of the sleeve with the hexagons pierced. With this you can print in 2 colours, to customize even more the silencer, or if you want to paint the pierced body in a different way. A head, optional, to give it a little more length and modern finish. A rear fastener, to glue it to the metal silencer, so that it fits completely into the metal silencer. The two bodies have been designed independently, so that the tolerances can be adjusted. I have created another article with a sample of each muffler, so you can test the diameter (Remember that you can increase or decrease the percentage of the piece by rolling the gcode).
