--- Work in Progress --- This file is still under development. I'm currently refining my test prints to ensure everything is perfect. This design builds upon a previous single top rail I created. Its primary function is to secure the barrel in place within the receiver when you rest your gun against it, much like a window frame or similar setup. This not only enhances stability, resulting in an improved shooting experience, but also prolongs the lifespan of your firearm by alleviating pressure on the stock screws during use. To install this front rail onto your receiver, simply use the provided drill template to accurately position the holes. Then, secure it with six M4 screws and nuts. I recommend placing a layer of shrink tubing between the barrel and the rail for added protection against scratches. Printing orientation: It's highly recommended to print this rail upright as shown in the image. This orientation ensures that the weakest points of the design can withstand the anticipated forces exerted by the barrel when pulled from underneath the rail. Printing material: PETG or ABS are ideal choices due to their durability and resistance to water, heat, and cold temperatures. PLA is not recommended for this application as it may not perform well in these conditions.
