I ordered an extremely affordable drum mag from taiwangun for my airsoft M4, but as they say, you get what you pay for - and this one has a major design flaw that causes it to fail almost instantly. This part is intended to replace the tiny plastic connector that connects the motor assembly to the feeding tube/spring. The original problem is that the spring bends at nearly a 90-degree angle, putting excessive sideways pressure on the connector, which is made of cheap, weak plastic and thus easily cracks and then snaps away. Using a curved piece instead eliminates this pressure almost entirely. The piece is precisely sized to make contact with the internal walls, ensuring it remains stable and secure. If you find that the internal hole is slightly too small, simply run a soldering iron quickly around the inside of the ends until the spring/motor assembly fits snugly.
