Hello everybody! this is my first post to Thingiverse. its a magazine holster for the common 300rd hi-CAPA mags. I'm very pleased with this design. it was made in tinkercad but that's not the point :) the idea behind it seemed relatively unique. its a simple print-in-place design (will need supports unfortunately) that uses compliant technology for the mag release lever, so no assembly is required! I have made sure to make the I.D an entire 1mm larger on all sides due to my printer having severe expansion issues (STRONGLY recommend not buying cheap filament) I also have added a little feed funnel on top. it doesn't really serve the most purpose but a buddy requested it so here it stands. one other thing I would like to note, I suggest using ABS due to it being a compliant mechanism so it flexes. you should also print it in the direction that's uploaded for maximum strength on the hinge. all tips are accepted and very well appreciated! edit: model is still a work in progress, i had troubles getting the hinge to work and had a couple variations so far. if your looking for a functioning model that also works with pla please check out my other models I have made a temporary one!
