Q: What is this? A: This is a precise model of a Krytac Kriss Vector magazine, accurately scaled to within one-tenth of a millimeter. Q: Why would you need this? A: I'm using it as a reference to create custom-made active-retention magazine holsters with 3D printing technology. Q: Should I print this? A: If you're up for the challenge, go ahead! You'll need a large printer bed, though – this model is approximately 25cm long. Q: Will you modify the model in x, y, or z fashion for me? A: Nope. I've included all necessary files, including the original .BLEND file and .STL export. Modify it to your heart's content using Blender or AutoCAD. EDIT 12/2018: NEW QUESTIONS, NEW ANSWERS Months had passed since my last login, and I found myself responding to new questions about this file in my inbox. Q: Is this a functional magazine for my airsoft toy? A: No way – it's purely a reference model. Q: The object scales improperly when imported to Cura - it's way too small! What are the correct sizes? A: Check out the added image. That red line on the rear of the magazine should be 2.5cm long. Scale it up in your preferred program, export as a new .3MF file, and import it into Cura – it'll have the right dimensions from there. Q: Do you have a file for the mag holster you intended to design? A: Sorry, I sold my Vector months ago before I could even start designing the holster. Q: Will you print these for me? A: No, not on your life! This model's meant as a reference for building holsters in Cura, and it's just too big for most printers.
