AIRSOFT HPA 1911
thingiverse
I built this project because I own a 1911 HPA airsoft pistol, which can get quite loud when fired. To address this issue, I designed a silencer that utilizes internal baffles, similar to those found in actual suppressors. However, my design is still a work in progress, and the baffles are relatively crude compared to their real-world counterparts. They primarily function by blocking airflow rather than allowing it to flow freely. I have not yet 3D printed this silencer, so I'll need to experiment with different infill patterns and support material configurations to achieve optimal results. Additionally, the cover cap is no longer required to be glued in place.
