I design wall mounts that are screwed directly into wall studs to support heavy firearms like guns. The AK or M4 adapter attaches securely on top of this sturdy foundation. I use two 1/4-inch Phillips head bolts, each 3 inches long, and matching nuts to reinforce the connection between the mount and the adapter. To install the wall mount, I rely on 2.5-inch exterior wood screws that provide a strong hold in various types of walls. A new Famas adapter is currently under development, but it will not be a magazine adapter.
