Airsoft Gun Sight

Airsoft Gun Sight

thingiverse

This sight was inspired by Oversight Shooting Technologies' "See All Open Sight," but adapted for airsoft guns. The adjustable sight uses M3 screws to control elevation and azimuth. With 100 shots fired on a KWA Kriss, zero loss was observed; however, the current design may not survive an airsoft game without improvements. A second revision is being designed to address BB resistance and lower the overall profile. To use the sight, align the target with the top of the triangular apex. This sight consists of three printed parts: RP Reticle Carrier, RP Sight Body, and RP Rail Adapter, all best printed in PLA for stiffness. Necessary hardware includes two M5 nuts and screws, a 19mm diameter convex lens, two M3 screws (19mm and 12mm), a 34mm M3 screw, a 20mm M3 screw, two M3 nuts, and an M3 Nylock nut. A spring made from RC silicone fuel tubing applies pressure to the components, while Lexan/acrylic supplies light to the reticle. The reticle is created by applying highlighter to paper, printing the pattern, cutting it out with a blade, and attaching it to the lexan block using glue stick.
