Airsoft Functioning 40mm Moscart M203 Grenade Launcher (shortened)
thingiverse
This is an airsoft m203 launcher designed for Moscart Grenades, featuring a rail attachment that fits most standard rails. It's shorter than usual due to its short barrel - a genetic trait. Known Issues: ISSUE #1: The Spring-Switch locking mechanism is tiny and difficult to access with gloves on. I'm working on an improved switch system that will be updated soon. ISSUE #2: The rail attachment cracked when tightening it too much, possibly due to printing in a horizontal position. Printing it upright or using support might improve its strength. A thicker rail attachment will be uploaded at some point. Assembly Instructions: You'll need the following parts: 3 x 5mm x 3mm Neodynium Magnets 1 x 18mm x 9.5mm Spring 1 x 18mm x 5.5mm Spring 3 x 25mm M3 Button Head Machine Screws/Bolts 1 x 18mm M3 Button Head Machine Screw/Bolt 1 x 20mm M4 CountSunk Machine Screw 1 x 20mm M3 CountSunk Machine Screw 1 x 17mm M3 CountSunk Machine Screw 1 x M4 Nut (maybe Nyloc) 9 x M3 Nuts Step One: Glue LauncherBarrelEnd to LauncherTriggerWell. Fit Two M3 nuts into the fittings in the arch at the top of LauncherTriggerWell. Step Two: Slide LauncherTrigger through gap in LauncherTriggerWell, making sure it's a tight fit but doesn't snap. Step Three: Slide 18mm x 9.5mm Spring onto LauncherPin. Step Four: Fit LauncherPin into LauncherTriggerWell through the hole into LauncherBarrelEnd. Step Five: Push-fit LauncherSafetyAxle into LauncherSafetyMech (you may need to shave it slightly with a craft-knife). Step Six: Press 5mm x 3mm Magnet into LauncherSafetyMech and install into LauncherTriggerWell, making sure the axle sticks through the hole. The magnets should be separated by the lid, holding the safety switch in place. Step Seven: Press two more 5mm Magnets into LauncherSafetyCover and glue it to LauncherTriggerLid, ensuring the polarity attracts the mechanism. Step Eight: Fit LauncherSafetySwitch to the other end of LauncherSafetyAxle and press LauncherSpringSwitch into LauncherSafetySurround. Step Nine: Secure LauncherSafetySurround with nuts (you can use a soldering iron to melt them in) and attach the 18mm Bolt through the trigger, along with the 25mm bolts through the other holes. Step Ten: Attach LauncherBarrel to the rail mount using an M4 Machine Screw and a nut push fit inside the barrel. Secure the LauncherTrigger Mechanism to the rail mount using a 17mm M3 and 20mm M3 machine screws from trigger end to barrel end respectively.
