This is a small BB storage to be carried while on the field.

The design was inspired by this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2183772 which was made by TherminalMirror.

It holds around 550 BBs.

V2: The body has a nozzle with 7 mm inner diameter. Just enough to fit a single BB through. The V2 cover is designed to fit the V2 body.

V3: The V3 body has a nozzle of 13 mm inner diameter to enable more and hopefully speedloader friendly BB output. The V3 cover is designed to fit the V3 body.

The bottom cap is designed to fit either version.

DO BE AWARE that this is not yet airsoft field tested and adjust print settings to your needs and experience!

Please feel free to test it in the field as feedback is much desired.

If the design itself needs to be adjusted, feel free to tell me your findings and your suggested adjustments and I will happily update the design.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Wanhao

Printer:

Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

Doesn't Matter

Resolution:

0.15

Infill:

20%

Notes:

I printed mine at .15 mm layer height, 0.8mm top, bottom and side walls and 20% infill.

The bottom cap is a screw-in fit and the top cover is a friction fit, so adjust your settings to your printers tolerances and scale parts to have more or less friction between them.

How I Designed This

I just recently got into airsoft and wanted to have some convenient way to carry some BBs inside my pocket. I decided to look around Thingiverse and found this design by TherminalMirror: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2183772

I printed it, looked at the print and tested it. It was well designed and fulfilled it's purpose, but I had some gripes with it.

My biggest problem with it was that there was no easy and quick way to fill it from, for example, a bag of BBs without using a funnel.

In addition the nozzle had a flying 90° angle and my printer didn't handle it well, which then hindered the BBs from coming out smoothly.

My last but quite minor gripe was that the shape of it wasn't rounded or 'flowing' which is not really something to critique but was something that stuck out to me.

But there weren't just negatives here!

I really liked the litte cut-out in the side to see how full the storage was and I loved how it felt when held because of it's small size and good storage capability.

Category: Sport & Outdoors
