thingiverse
Make your project glide smoothly with these linear drawer slides, crafted from airsoft pellets as precision ball bearings. Materials needed: 3D Print Airsoft Pellets Lighter/Match WD-40 Instructions: Line up the chamfered holes so they face each other directly. Insert four airsoft bearings into each side of the assembly. Slide the inner rod 90% forward until the hemispheres in front of the rails are half covered. Insert a bearing into each hemisphere and pull the rod back slightly. Pull the rod forward until the hemispheres on the back of the rod are half covered. Insert two bearings into the back of the rod. Pull the rod all the way forward until it stops moving. Using a match or lighter, heat up the back tab until it is soft and pliable to the touch. Flip the tab up using a match stick or stick to lock the assembly securely in place. A few drops of WD-40 on the bearings make a significant difference. Caution: Hot things are extremely hot.
