Airport Extreme and Time Capsule (flat style) stacking standoffs
thingiverse
The older flat-style Airport Extreme and Time Capsule models tend to get quite warm, particularly when stacked together in large quantities. Adding an extra set will provide ample airflow underneath, while additional sets will allow more units to be stacked on top. To prevent the bottom unit from shifting around, insert three small rubber feet into the recess at the bottom. I use Amazon's B001JTFPFQ product, but any item slightly taller than 1mm will suffice. For stacking additional units, simply leave the recess clear, allowing the devices to stack securely on top of one another. My design was inspired by Thingiverse's 737978 model, but it didn't quite meet my needs. I therefore recreated it using measurements taken from Joe's Thing.
