AirPods Sleeve
thingiverse
Designed specifically to fit snugly around an AirPods G1 case, this sleeve also works seamlessly with the G2 version. The interference fit secures the sleeve firmly in place, preventing it from shifting or coming loose. A small latch located on the top portion easily clicks into a designated gap at the front, making it simple to open and close the sleeve as needed. Ideally, this design is meant to be 3D printed using a flexible thermoplastic material. The Cap and Base are two separate files that can be printed independently. However, the AirPods_Sleeve model includes both parts combined into one complete design. Although designed as two distinct pieces, I am currently considering adding a hinge feature to connect them, depending on how frequently users find themselves having to reattach the cap when it slips off.
