The Xials Airpod Step model (available on Thingiverse under #3949286) was used as a reference, featuring a 0.15mm gap that provides a good fit with Proto-Pasta matt fiber PLA filament. However, normal PLA may exhibit a looser fit in comparison. When working with flexible filaments, it's essential to use plenty of Patafix to ensure the case stays securely in place. A warning: as with all PLA cases on ABS plastic surfaces, a tight fit can cause minor scratches.
