This aircraft is designed by project group AVEM FERRO from Inholland University of Applied Sciences Delft. The project required designing an utility aircraft suitable for medevac missions and capable of transporting 8 people, including the pilot. Other specifications included a range of 1200 km, a maximum cruise speed of 450 km/h, and the ability to carry a 1000 kg payload. The model has been scaled down to 3.5% of its original size and a stand has been added so that it can stand independently. New V2 models have been uploaded for the fuselage (hull), engines, tail, and wings. These new models are made with fewer cuts, resulting in a nicer final product. However, they cannot be combined with the original fuselage or tail parts. The stand and props remain compatible. All renders were created by Daan Kaasjager, as well as a work-in-progress FSX model. The 3D CAD model was designed by Emiel Noorlander. AVEM FERRO group members include: Daan Kaasjager Jordi Liu Leander van Noort Peter Zwarts Emiel Noorlander Sidney Vorst Casper van Veen Erik ten Oever To learn more about the renderings and FSX, visit the following links: https://dutcheeseblend.blogspot.nl/2016/06/the-avem-ferro-af-01.html http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?100808-The-Avem-Ferro-AF-01&p=1026712#post1026712 Print Settings: Printer: Home build Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15 Infill: 10% Notes: Print all parts standing up where possible, with engines in the front section and wings at the cross-section. Tips: Print the wings on a raft to minimize extra thickness at the base and ensure a flat side. Print the fuselage 'nose up' on a raft with additional support (see images). Print the propellers on a raft with support. All other parts should be printed straight onto the bed. Depending on your printer, the landing gear bays may need to be sanded slightly to fit the stand in place. Post-Printing: All parts can be lightly sanded using a nail file or regular sandpaper before being glued together using superglue.
