Airplane Nose Cone

This is a minimalist nose cone for an RC airplane with a circular faceplate boasting a diameter of 48mm. Designers can easily modify settings within the customizable OpenSCAD file, although not all parameters come with a guarantee of functionality. The wall thickness can be effortlessly adjusted from its default value of 6mm. To optimize weight and make room for added ballast, the center of the cone features a hollowed-out design. I Built This Project Initial measurements were taken of both the airplane and the intended product. Using these figures as a starting point, all necessary components were meticulously drawn out in OpenSCAD. The spherical cap on top was then scaled to achieve a visually appealing appearance. It's worth noting that scaling this feature may not hold true if any of the adjustable parameters are modified.
