For the Airplane Bearing Bracket Challenge, I proposed an innovative project called "Airplane Bearing Bracket Bionic." Additive manufacturing enables us to replicate nature's intricate designs in our creations. In this project, I aimed to make the part resemble how nature constructs its structures. The finished product weighs 323 grams, which is approximately 38% of the original weight. Similar to tree growth, the "grown" bracket requires support only at five specific points: a hole under the spherical bearing, and the screw heads of the bearing pad.
