Airodactylus -an Ender 3 fan duct
thingiverse
Update: Project Frozen I'm sorry to admit that I've run out of time for this model as real life and work have caught up with me. My prints needed more cooling too, so I shifted focus to the 2-fan design with Ptairoductilus. No progress has been made on V2. V3 is still in development, but I'm hesitant to provide an ETA. Months have passed since my last update, and this project remains stagnant. Despite its current state, I know it's a good duct - not perfect, but assembly needs improvement. I don't want to abandon the design altogether; let's call it a "frozen project" for now. Thank you to everyone who provided advice, tested, and offered support:) Quick Update on V3 I've struggled to achieve balanced airflow between my two fans, so I'll give myself another try next week. In the meantime, here's my two-fan design, which outperforms the AIRO family: Ptairoductylus https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/ptairoductylus-a-performance-based-ender-3-cr10-maybe-5-dual-fan-duct Update 3: Added BLTouch Mount STL Print it at 0.24 with the orientation as it loads. The mount hasn't been tested yet, so please report your findings. You'll need: 1*M3x20 screw 2*M3x6 screws 2 or 3 from the following: M3x15 screws (2) M3x8 screws Updated instructions are available. Check out my 50x6mm overhang test for a sneak peek at V3. Update 2: Added Bridge Test STL Update 1: Added Bridge Settings to Cura Profile Bridge flow needs to be 105-110% of your calibrated flow. I'm currently running tests with these settings. WORK IN PROGRESS
