Airmaks Katran Bag Rider (Tilly Gunstocks)
thingiverse
Improved the buttstock on my Airmaks Katran by fitting a superb aluminium adjustable butt from Tilly Gunstocks - only trouble was no bag rider or monopod, so I designed this as a quick and dirty solution. Requires 2no M5 cap-head bolts of correct length to affix; currently i'm re-using the monopod and thumbscrew from my Airmaks bagrider, which requires M6 tap in the side hole (I use silicon oil to lubricate when tapping plastic, to prevent heat build up melting/deforming the plastic threads). In future I will buy some M8 bar and M5 thumbscrews and make my own monopod and use a threaded insert for the thumbscrew as a more reliable solution. I like to think this is a work in progress and I'll further refine the design, but in honesty I'm not very good a F360 and will probably settle with what I've got now - every time i try to make changes to something, it screws something else up, so clearly my F360 skills leave something to be desired :)
