Airlock Sensor
thingiverse
This is a replica of the 3D airlock sensor originally developed for the BrewMonitor project. A photointerruptor sensor built into the design detects the flow of bubbles through the airlock's curved neck. The maker behind this model encourages viewers to explore more of his work by checking out the full BrewMonitor project on GitHub at: https://github.com/DigitalHomebrew/BrewMonitor Print Details * MakerBot was used as the printer brand. * The exact model number was a MakerBot Replicator 2. * Print settings include: + No rafts were needed. + Supports also weren't required. + Resolution is 0.2mm per layer. + Infill density is at 10% to balance structural integrity and speed. This design proves surprisingly flexible when it comes to adjusting print settings. Experiment with different options, but remember to set expectations accordingly.
