Airhead Boston Valve Adapter

Airhead Boston Valve Adapter

thingiverse

I reworked a Boston valve adapter for Airhead compressors, heavily inspired by theodroid's excellent design. To create this revised version, I made significant modifications to eliminate all supports except those under the two latching pins - take note of one of the photos showcasing these two crucial supports in place. For successful printing, it's essential to have a slicer that allows for support customization, as it greatly enhances the outcome by keeping supports out of the thread area. I've attached my Simplify123 factory file for your reference. To achieve optimal results, print with high resolution; however, I discovered that 0.2mm produces acceptable threads. I painstakingly reverse engineered the original design and recreated the adapter on Onshape.com.
