Air gun silencer designed for calibers 0.22 and 5.5mm. Built with a sturdy, dependable structure that significantly moderates sound levels while maintaining precise function. Traditional reflex baffles effectively slow air velocity and pressure without disturbing pellet flight. This design guarantees excellent accuracy with repeatable results. The compact dimensions were calculated to achieve optimal sound reduction, combining the benefits of length, diameter, and volume in a space-efficient format. Tested on PCP guns, spring and gas ram guns: FX airguns, Hatsan, Weihrauch (Beeman R1 & R7), Zoraki Hp01. Installing it on PCPs dramatically reduces noise levels, making high-powered guns safe for backyard use. For best performance after 3D printing, thoroughly clean the UNF 1/2-inch thread using a plug tap. Suggested printing materials are PLA (ideal), ABS or polycarbonate. To print threads facing upwards, refer to picture 6. The baffles' angle of 40 degrees allows for printing without supports; however, ensure proper stability with a build plate adhesive. A recommended layer height is 0.2mm, resulting in an approximate eight-hour print time. Future sound meter reports will be posted on YouTube.
