Airforce Condor SS Moderator silencer
thingiverse
I was thoroughly dissatisfied with the stock Condor SS moderator baffles on my .22 air rifle and decided to experiment with 3D printed moderators. Some attempts came out louder, while others were slightly softer, but this design made a significant difference. I adapted the design to be a single print without supports, making it a drop-in model. To use, print with PETG (PLA does not hold up well to shock pressure waves and delaminates). This design is intentionally smaller than the shroud tube to accommodate a layer of thin felt around the baffle. The baffle then slides into the shroud tube until it meets the barrel. The end cap is replaced, and I secured the felt in place with electrical tape on both ends. Despite its tight fit, the end result is excellent - all I hear now is the hammer strike, hammer spring sound, and pellet impact.
