The custom airfoil design for my canard search and rescue radio control plane is specifically tailored to achieve moderate drag while maximizing lift potential. Measuring 21 cm in length, it features a 2.5cm thickness, making it an ideal candidate for bracing with a 1mm carbon rod. The main spar consists of an 85mm carbon fiber square tube, providing exceptional strength and stability. To facilitate prototyping, the .stl file has been optimized to a thickness of 4mm, allowing for rapid printing times of around 20 minutes, contingent on printer capabilities.
