Airfield Hex
thingiverse
For the aerial combat game "Check Your 6!" in 1:300 scale, I needed a, flexible airfield with a simple design from 4 to 5 hexes long, and for one game I also needed one with 2 hexes wide. My gamemat is divided in hexes from 1,5 inch (side to side), so because the original designs were created for Memoir '44, the tiles were to big (approx 54mm). I rescaled them to 38mm (approx 1,5") so they would fit my gamemat. I also remixed both files so I can make the runway as long and wide as the game desires. So, in this remix you can find : * the original Runway with Tower but scaled down to 38mm (approx 1,5") * the original Runway End, but scaled down to 38mm (approx 1,5") * a crossing of two runways (remix from the runway with tower) * a straight runway (remix from the Runway End) Keep in mind that if you want to use them for Memoir '44 as intended by the creator, you have to rescale them back to 54mm (side to side) I will post some pics once they are printed and painted. Updates: 21/07/2023 : * made a testprint today, and it seems they are approx 1mm to big for the hexes on my gamemat. I'll run another testprint in a few days and when they are fine, I'll update the files.
