This is a protective cover that can be installed over the engine-side face of an aircraft magneto when it is in storage. This was designed for a Champion Aerospace Slick magneto model 4371, but may fit other models. The protective cover is installed using the bolt and castle nut that normally holds the engine drive gear to the magneto. Tighten the nut to only finger tightness.
