This is a versatile 5 position key switch ideal for use in a simulated cockpit environment. It leverages a rotary potentiometer to detect position, which can be seamlessly connected to the analog input of a microcontroller board like Arduino. The design accommodates a wide range of keys and does not incorporate an internal locking mechanism. To assemble this device, you will need to print one each of various parts, except for the spaces, which require two prints. Additionally, you will need some m3 screws, a spring, a pair of m4 x 30 screws, and some m4 nuts. The fitment of the cam assembly in the housing is snug and may necessitate some sanding to ensure smooth operation.
