aircraft engine mockup
thingiverse
This appears to be a resemblance of a commercial aircraft engine; it consists of three STL files - core_130916a_rpd.stl, inlet_130916a.stl, and support_130920.stl. To assemble the engine, glue the core and inlet using acetone, and place it on a stand. If necessary, flip the engine to achieve a level positioning. ANSYS Classic users can use provided macros for creating geometry within the limitations of ANSYSEd version 10. The macros are located in "mk_engine_130916a.mac", "do_mesh_cyclic_130331.mac", and "ansys_2_stl_cyclic_append_130331.mac". To utilize them, place the macro files in the run directory and run "mk_engine_130916a.mac".
