In the aircraft design project at Shenyang Aerospace University, a conceptual sketch and CATIA model of a cargo-transporter will be developed, followed by sizing using crude methods. The transporter is required to carry a crew of 4 (with an average weight of 200lbs) and transport a payload of 21,000lbs. It must have a cruise range of 3100 nautical miles, a cruise altitude of 25,000ft (where the speed of sound is 994.82 ft/s), and a cruising speed of 580 km/h.
