In my seventh attempt, I successfully met the stress criteria while reducing weight to 331.8gm by adjusting the structure angles of 45-degree split parts. However, semi-circular cut-outs may still have issues, so modifications might be necessary for better printing. This design separates post-print processes like counter-boring and bearing machining from structural printing to avoid support structures. As a newcomer to design competitions, I shared various versions with photos to highlight changes. The first version met stress requirements at 342gm weight but raised concerns about printability due to support structures. I am still studying print direction diagrams and welcome advice on the best print direction for my model. My second WIP design weighed 283gm, but it exceeded 145 KSI in the elbow area, requiring further improvements.
