Hello, The original plan for this RC model plane originated with Andrej Pervinsek. It was designed for building an air combat model using balsa and plywood, equipped with a nitro engine. I converted the model into onshape format, allowing it to be printed with a 3D printer. The specifications are based on the original design: Wingspan: 114 cm Length: 86 cm Weight (printed parts): approximately 730 grams Weight overall: approximately 1350 grams I use a Dymond 3542 motor with 1250 KV, paired with a 4s 2300 mAh Lipo battery and a 9x6 airscrew. I also utilize a 50 A ESC with BEC. Additional components include: Three 9g servos (23x12x24mm) Four pieces of 2mm carbon fiber rods (approximately 600mm long) Four pieces of 6mm carbon fiber tubes or 6mm wood sticks (500mm long, or cheaper option) Nine plastic hinges (24x15mm) Cyan glue with activator Other small parts Printer settings: Bed size: approximately 200 x 200 x 150 mm, equipped with a heatbed Material: PLA Nozzle diameter: 0.4 mm Most parts are printed at a layer height of 0.25 mm. Some fine details, such as the canopy, require a layer height of 0.1 mm. Additional information can be found in the downloadable manual. December 14, 2018: The wing parts (1-5) have been updated. I have reinforced the inner structure to ensure flush alignment with the shell. This update eliminates the need for a solid bottom layer on wings 2-5, increasing the surface area available for gluing. However, I recommend three solid bottom layers for wing 1 to provide additional stability in the midsection. [Image: cables connection illustration] May 28, 2019: I have updated the fuselage parts (2_new, 3_new, 4_new, and 5_new) due to issues with small tube diameters, particularly when using Cura. I have increased the diameter of these tubes to make it easier to insert carbon fiber rods.
