Complying with CS 29 amdt 3 guidelines, it utilizes accepted materials by the European Aviation Safety Agency, ensuring no exposed sharp edges or self-locking fasteners. With a targeted cost of less than $70, it features a minimum 50,000-hour operation lifetime, steady flow, continuous working mode, and a quiet design at 44dB. Operating with water (up to 50% glycol or iso-propanol), it functions within -20 to 120°C temperatures and can handle up to 16 bar pressure difference (potentially exceeding 20 bar). The rated flow rate is 14 L/min, adjustable between 8-25 L/min, with a max pressure at 3000 RPM. It includes blocked flow protection up to 14 bar and has a nominal voltage of 28VDC (regulated to 24V) for motor compatibility. The inlet and outlet ports measure 10mm each, and the pump weighs between 0.7-0.9 kg with an overall volume under 1 L. It is also self-priming and has a mechanical time constant of 0.2 seconds.
