The Volaris is a blueprint for an ultra-efficient long-range airplane. The aircraft's design combines the passenger compartment, cargo bay, and fuel tanks within its wings, crafting a striking v-shape silhouette. Its enhanced aerodynamic profile and reduced weight will result in 20% less fuel consumption than the Boeing 787, today's leading commercial airliner. In the summer of 2020, the life-size flight model of the Volaris completed a successful inaugural flight. I conceptualized and constructed this Volaris prototype last year at the behest of Delft University of Technology and Delta Airlines.
