The Airbus A300 is a short- to medium-range wide-body jet airliner built near to scale based on actual dimensions. It was developed and manufactured by Airbus, with the launch customer Air France introducing it into service on 30 May 1974. The model features hidable or retractable landing gear and landing gear doors but not bays. Animateable control surfaces include flaps, ailerons, elevator, rudder, and turbines. Available in several formats and airline liveries, production of the A300 ceased in July 2007, alongside its smaller A310 derivative.
