The model accurately represents the actual size of the aircraft and features retractable landing gears without bays. It has animateable control surfaces such as flaps, ailerons, elevator, rudder, and turbines. Available in multiple formats and liveries, this is a short- to medium-range wide-body jet airliner developed by Airbus. Air France was the launch customer, commencing operations on 30 May 1974. Production for both A300 and its smaller derivative, A310, ceased in July 2007.
