The Airbus A220, previously known as the Bombardier CS300, is a family of narrow-body, twin-engine medium-range midsize passenger airliners. Bombardier developed the design through the test flight stage before Airbus acquired a majority share of the CS program from Bombardier Company. The 108 to 133 seat aircraft was initially named the CS100 and has since been rebranded as the Airbus A220-100. Similarly, the CS300 with its 130-160 seat capacity is now known as the Airbus A220-300.
