I built a simple airbrush purging pot that's perfect for any DIY enthusiast. This design is specifically tailored to fit a cheap plastic pot I had lying around, but feel free to modify it as needed. To give you a better understanding of how I created this project, I've included the Fusion 360 files so you can see my thought process. For the filter, I used a piece of kitchen sponge and sandwiched it between two pieces of a dust mask - a simple yet effective solution that gets the job done. If you want even better results, consider using activated charcoal sponge like they use in aquariums, but this worked well enough for me. When printing this design, make sure to use the default orientation without supports. However, be sure to enable brim when printing the nozzle intake and airbrush holder to ensure a smooth finish. I printed the entire project on generic PLA at 0.28mm with a 4mm nozzle, and it turned out great.
