Airbrush Grip
thingiverse
After struggling with cramped hands for years while using an airbrush, I set out to find a solution. My search led me to Grex's plastic grip, but it only fit their airbrushes and wasn't very comfortable. This prompted me to design my own, which turned out to be surprisingly simple yet incredibly effective. I printed the grip using TPU to give it a rubber feel and added some squish for comfort. This also works well for gripping the airbrush if you make the hole slightly smaller than the brush body - the clip version relies on this feature to work with multiple airbrush models. The design includes three different grips: The Hole grip is specifically cut for my Bader Patriot 105, which has a 10.9mm diameter. The Clip grip provides a more universal size option and can be seen in the image attached to a Pache airbrush. The Solid grip serves as a base model that can be modified using a boolean operation to create the desired size and position of the hole or clip. A Bool Tool is also included, which is a simple cylinder measuring 68mm x 10.9mm used to create the void for the brush.
